What We Offer
Grief isn’t something to get over, it’s something we learn to carry with us. In therapy, I provide a space where you can feel your grief fully, be seen without judgment, and explore the many emotions that can accompany loss. Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, grief can impact your relationships, sense of identity, daily life, and ability to experience joy. The goal is not to move on from your loss, but to help you carry it while continuing to build a meaningful life. This may include honoring your loss, coping with difficult emotions, managing the demands of everyday life, and finding sources of joy again.
Grief Counseling
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a supportive, compassionate space to break unhelpful patterns, heal past wounds, and move toward a more authentic and resilient life. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, therapy provides an opportunity to slow down, feel heard, and better understand yourself. Sessions focus on emotional exploration, validation, and practical tools to help you navigate grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, perfectionism, and people-pleasing patterns.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a trauma-informed approach that helps your brain process painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which often focuses on discussing and analyzing experiences over time, ART works directly with how memories and emotions are stored in the brain using bilateral stimulation. Many clients experience relief and a sense of empowerment in just one to a few sessions, making ART a helpful option for those experiencing PTSD, grief, anxiety, and depression, or for anyone feeling stuck in patterns shaped by past experiences.
Trauma & ART Therapy
I provide supportive, trauma-informed therapy for parents and caregivers navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. Parenthood can be deeply meaningful, but it can also feel overwhelming, isolating, and different from what you expected. Topics often include adjusting to new parenting roles, shifts in identity, relationship changes, anxiety or depression, intrusive thoughts, anger or overwhelm, balancing expectations, and the mental load of caregiving. I also support individuals facing fertility challenges, miscarriage or infant loss, and the unique grief and uncertainty these experiences can bring.

Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy sessions are all about creating a space where you can be yourself. We usually start with a brief check-in to see how you’re doing and chat about what might be helpful to focus on. Are you hoping for a lighter, more reflective session, or ready to dive a little deeper? You’re welcome to make yourself comfortable, grab a fidget toy, a cup of tea or coffee, or just settle in. Whether we meet virtually or in person, this is your space to feel seen, heard, and supported.

While a typical therapy session lasts 38 to 53 minutes, I offer flexible options to meet you where you are, including 30-, 45-, or 53-minute sessions. Most clients start on a weekly basis to get comfortable and build trust. As you learn tools and gain confidence, we can switch to biweekly sessions, collaboratively deciding what works best for you.
